Hi Guys,
Problem/Issue: I would like to display some additional data info (Passport/driving licence number on purchase ticket.
What I have done so far: I have added a new required question to the Personal Group via registration form.
Stuck: I obviously need to have/create a shortcode which I can then select/add in the ticket message edit registration section..I hope all of this makes sense and someone will be kind enough to help me.

Hi Rich,
You don’t need to create a shortcode for this, we have a dynamic shortcode you can use to pull the answer to custom questions within the ticket template.
That is [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_*] and you need to add your custom question text after the * to match.
For example if your question text matches ‘Passport/driving licence number’ exactly, your dynamic shortcode would be:
[RECIPIENT_ANSWER_*Passport/driving licence number]
Here is an example of how I’m using a similar shortcode to pull in a ‘Start Date’ answer – http://take.ms/x07yw
You can add that within Event Espresso -> Messages -> Ticket -> Registrant.

Hi Tony,
I think your solution might resolve my issue – haven’t yet tested as my host is having some server problems.
I will update this ticket later to let you know how I get on, but thanks for replying.
