I followed the directions on this guide:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/
And when I added this shortcode to the description of the event, it works but it doesn’t change the anchor text to “Register for this Event”. It still says “View Cart”.

Hi Adam,
The View Cart text indicates that the event has already been added to the cart. You can empty your cart or remove the event from your cart and it will display the custom anchor text once the event can be added to the cart again.
