I had an issue over the weekend. I think it was a one-in-a-million, but it has me stumped. 2 people registered for an event at the same time. They each appeared in each other’s shopping carts. The people who were registering do not know each other and are about 100 miles apart. So Person B deleted the names he did not know and Person A was in Stripe Paying, so Person A paid for Person B. And, Person A’s names are no where to be found. What are the odds that they both hit at the exact second and used the same session? Not too concerned, but would love to know what happened.

Hi,
It sounds like both users were assigned the exact same PHP Session ID. You could check with your host to see if that’s even possible. Perhaps there’s a caching mechanism in place that could allow that to happen.
