Hello, Yesterday, my event worked fine, however, last night it started saying “Shopping Cart is Empty” when you select Paypal, and the price on the page and on the invoice pdf says “$0.00”. However, when I look at the invoice via the confirmation email, I see the price correctly on the invoice and I can go to the paypal login screen. Any ideas why this is happening. I’ve deactiviated and activated the Espresso plugin, and I have not moved from a test server as I read someone with the same problem as me had. Thanks, |

Hello, I’ve solved my problem. I deactivated the payment types under payment settings, and activated cheque/money order. I tested my event and everything worked fine so I deactivated the cheque/money order option and reactivated invoice payments and paypal. Everything is working fine now. Sylvia |

Ok, well the problem is back. Besides deactivating and reactivating the payment settings, does anyone have other thoughts as to what the problem could be? Thanks, |
Check your page settings to make sure they are set up correctly and none of those pages are in the trash, and check your /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory to see if there are any files in there. If there are, rename templates to templatesOLD. |

Thanks, Chris. I tried that but it didn’t change anything. Any other ideas? |
Try deactivating all other plugins that are active on your site to rule out any kind of plugin conflict. If you’re still having the issue, send us wp login credentials via the form here so we can take a quick peek to doublecheck your settings. Select “I am sending login credentials as requested” from the dropdown. |

I deactivated all other plugins and it didn’t help my problem. I’ve sent my login credentials via your link. Thanks again. |
Looking at your site now. |

Sorry, I’ve deleted all espresso plugins and I’m not using the multi-ticket plugin this time. |
|
I’ve reinstalled just the main espresso plugin for now. |
You are using the [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] shortcode but Multi Event Registration is not installed on your site. That’s the first problem. The second problem is that the jquery.preload.js script is causing a stack of errors on the page load that might cause issues with Event Espresso javascript elements on the page (but I wouldn’t know one way or another if that was the case until Multi Event Registration is installed). |

Thanks for your help, Chris. I’m going to stick with not using the multi-ticket plugin for now. It seems to be working fine without it. |

Hi Chris, I’ve reinstalled the Multi-ticket addon and everything seems to be working fine. I’d like to check for javascript errors. What tool did you use to do that? Sylvia |
|
I think I found the problem. On the Event Overview page, I had put the Unique Event Identifier as the event_ID into the ESPRESSO_CART_LINK shortcode and I received the cart empty error. I’ve removed the event_ID and it works fine. |
I am using Google Chrome but Firebug for Firefox does the same thing. |
