Shipping Information

I ship course materials for all who register for my events. In EE3 the shipping information was nicely displayed in the confirmation email I received. This information is no longer displayed in the confirmation emails I receive under EE4. I now have to go into the backend of the website and drill down to the specific event the person registered for and obtain the data from there. It was a breeze with EE3. In EE4 it’s very awkward and cumbersome. Any suggestions in how to have the address appear in the confirmation email in EE4? What shortcodes can I use for Company, Mailing Address, City, State and Zip Code?

Hi Ken,

To capture that information are you using the system address questions (and group)?

If so you can use the built in shortcodes to pull in most of that information, if you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Registration Approved -> Event Admin.

Within that context you’ll find the ATTENDEE_LIST section. If you click the icon to the right you’ll see a list of valid shortcodes for that section – http://take.ms/slBXh

‘Mailing Address’ I assume is the ‘Address’ system question renamed? If so the [ADDRESS] shortcode will pull in the answer for that question.

Is the ‘Company’ question a custom question you have created? If so you can use the [ANSWER_*] to pull in that value, you need to put the exact question text after the * for that shrotcode, so if its called ‘Company’ it would be:

[ANSWER_*Company]
