How do I share a privately published event with others? I am not looking to sell tickets, just looking for the content to be approved before being published.

Hi Rachel,
In WordPess privately published posts (EE Events are just posts) are view-able by Editors and Administrators that are logged into the site so you will need the user to log into the site using an Editor or above account to view the events on the front end.
Another option is to password protect the event and provide the user with the password. The event title etc will be visible to users but none of the content without the password.
