I am just starting to set up Event Espresso, and I am ready to set up the ticket types for an event for my client. My client has forms that they used to use on their old site (which is still available) for their registration on past events. Here is the link:

If you pull up each of the past forms, you can see the manner in which they want to collect information from the ticket holders.

I’m a bit at a loss as how it is best to proceed in this setup so that my customer is still receiving their required information as well as having the ability to add multiple “Angler” information. I have downloaded the Multiple Event addon, but I’m not sure if I need it.

As for the last form, I assume I can create a form for any changes that need to be submitted and make it so an admin can make those changes on the back end. Is this correct?

Thank you,

Laura

I noticed that my link did not show up in the last post. Here it is again:

Hi there,

You can set up question groups to “contain” or group together a set of questions, then set each group to be required for the Primary Attendee, Additional Attendees, or both types of attendees. There’s some more information and a video that shows how to set question groups in the documentation:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/add-questions-event-espresso-question-groups/
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/questions/#40_

With regards to the different ticket types (Angler, Volunteer, Worker, and so on) it looks like the fields for each of those forms are basically identical. So if you set up your questions with generic fields (e.g. Name instead of Angler Name) one set of forms should be sufficient to capture the attendee information.
