Setting up EE on second domain for testing and later migration

Hi, we currently have our company website and EE3 on .com domain and I am in a process of developing a new website and would like to install EE4 plugin on a test .co.uk domain.

We have 1 licence and lots of various add-ons. Since this will be a big move for us I would like to test everything on .co.uk before we migrate everything to our main website.

I just would like to double check that there are no restrictions on your side, and I can put another copy of EE just for testing purposes on that .co.uk domain. Please kindly confirm. Thank you, Roland

Hi Roland,

Your license key can only be used on a single domain for updates and support, but your test can use Event Espresso without the license key set without any problems. You will need to manually update EE (and its add-ons) on the test site but other than that there should be no issues:
