Setting up diferent accounts on one installation

Hi there,

I would like to use EE as an online ticket plattform where users can setup their own account to manage their own events. Is this possible here? Which add-on would I need?

If this doesn’t work with EE can I as an admin setup different event accounts for different venues to separate payment, customers and stuff like that?

Event Espresso was designed to allow users to manage their own events, however it expects all users to be within the same organization.

For example, Invoices are generated using the organization settings that are set once for the install.

It is possible to use Event Espresso as an event marketplace type of plugin but it would require custom development and unfortunately is not something we can provide support for.

It is possible to setup roles within WP so that users only have access to their own events (and event related data) using the Capabilities within EE:

Here is an example plugin that creates 2 roles:

Event Organizer – only has access to their own events etc

Events Manager – has access to all of Event Espresso (including others events etc) but no other section of WordPress.

It all depends on how separate you want each of these events from the organization set within Event Espresso’s general settings if the above will work for you 🙂
