Hello,
I just updated to the latest Mailchimp extension so that hidden groups were visible again. In testing, I discovered that when a person registers the group specified to be set is set BUT all of the previously set groups for that person in Mailchimp are cleared. Setting a group used to add it self to the current state not overwrite it. This is a big problem for us – we will lose important information in Mailchimp. I looked for a setting related to this but don’t see one.

Hi Marcia,
This isn’t an issue with the latest changes (to show the hidden fields), it’s an issue since we switched over to the use the latest version of the MailChimp API.
I’ve created a ticket to investigate this further.

There’s a new version of the MailChimp add-on (version 2.4.4) available now that fixes this issue.
