Hi, we would like to set a condition, if the person registering for an event has been in business 3+ years, they can continue with their registration. If not, they’re notified that they’re not eligible to attend the event.

Is this possible? And if so, how do I go about doing this.

We are using EE4 Personal License, latest WordPress version with Divi child theme.

Thank you.

Hi,

Yes this possible by adding a bit of html & JavaScript to the event page. I can put together some steps for adding this. Are you looking for it work something like this demo on CodePen?

Also, is this a one-off event or will this condition be set for multiple events?

Hi Josh,

Yes, something similar to CodePen.

And we’d set this for multiple events, I’m not 100% sure if it would be standard for all events or a certain category of events.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Nicole,

Another option for this without any customization is to use a checkbox on the registration form.

Something like this – http://take.ms/povJ0

You can change the wording to however you prefer, but it allows you then select the question group containing that question on a per event basis. The downside to this approach is the user can select tickets, start filling out the registration form and then spot the 3+ year requirement on the form.

Would that not work for you?
