It will do this already in that it will only accept tickets tied to a specific event. So if the scanner is set to scan tickets for an event that’s going on today, and someone shows up with a ticket that’s for tomorrow’s event, it will let you know when you scan the ticket. It will throw an error stating that the event code does not match.
