When someone registers for an event, they need to set the quantity to 1 for a single registration or 2 for a couples registration. I want to automatically set those values in the select list so that they don’t get the error that happens to almost everyone.
I have set the min and max quantities for each ticket type to 1 (for single) and 2 for couples, but the select list still defaults to 0.
How can I force the default values to be set to the min value for that ticket?

Hi there,
That’s not something we have available within EE currently and would require custom development.
Thinking it through though, if your event has both single and couple registration then it’s going to add a value for each meaning the user is going to need to remove a selection from the ticket selector rather than adding what they actually want to register onto so I’m not sure how well that would work?
It could also be considered a pre-selected check out item which most people are heavily against.
