set default 'status' setting when registering a payment to 'don't change'

when registering a payment, the default setting is now to change the status to ‘approved’. Can this be changed to ‘don’t change’?
we want to use the ‘approved mail’ for other purposes. So it would be easy that we don’t have to change that field every time we register a payment. We might overlook it sometimes ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Lieven,

How are you currently using the default registration approved message type?

Also, is a full payment being applied through the payments screen?

mmm I don’t understand the question, sorry.

when registering a payment there is a popup to fill in the payment details and there is also a dropdown: change status of the order? options: approved,don’t change,annulation, rejected,… (sorry they are all translated in dutch now, so don’t know which are the exact words in english)
We want the default selected option to be ‘don’t change’ here
I don’t know if that’s clear?

Hello,

That default can’t be changed at this time so I was wanting to know how you were using the registration approved message that is triggered to see if we could suggest a different workflow.

in the meantime we were also considering using the ‘registration approved’ message ๐Ÿ™‚ I think we will dot that!

I’m not sure I understand, how will you be using the Registration Approved message?

Oh sorry, the “registration pending payment” mail…
– create a customized mail
– change the setting in the event for ‘registration pending payment’ to this custom mail
– send mail to attendees using the enveloppe icon
