Hi
We have events we run regularly where the participants need a unique serial number (unique to each participant) to allow them to complete a pre-event assessment tool. Does EE4 have capacity to add serial numbers to event emails? Or, is there a plugin that works with EE4 (such as the Serial Numbers / License Key plugin that works with WooCommerce)?
If not, can you think of any workaround so we can use EE for events?

Hi there,
We don’t currently have an add-on that will generate serial numbers for registration, however every registration already has unique values assigned to them, does the serial number need to be in a specific format?
If you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations you’ll see a list of registrations on your site, below each one should be a ‘Reg Code’, that is unique for each registration made.
Will that value work for you?

Thanks Tony, I appreciate the response. Unfortunately I have to download the serial numbers from the supplier and then distribute them exactly as is to the puchasers.

In that case, unfortunately, we don’t have an automated method for this. You could manually assign them to a question via the admin, then include them within the emails but that that’s going to be a fair amount of admin work if you have many registrations/serial numbers.
No other plugins will work with Event Espresso registrations without some form of custom development to integrate the 2 and we don’t have any kind of serial number add-on available currently.
