Sending confirmation email to abandoned registrations followup

Reference prior support conversation here.

I installed the Event Espresso – Flexible Payment Method (EE 4.6+) as you suggested but using this option is not triggering the “Registration Pending Payment” message but rather the “Registration Approved” reply. I do have both set to active in the message setting screen. How can I correct this?

May I ask what’s set for the “Default Registration Status” option in the event editor for that event?

All my events Default Registration Status are set to “Approved”

You would need to change the setting to be “Pending Payment” in order to trigger the “Registration Pending Payment” message.

When the Default Registration Status is set to “Approved” it skips the Pending Payment status.
