Currently, we don’t support sending the ticket directly within the email, one of the reasons for this is that the barcodes on the ticket are generated using a JS library in the browser, that wouldn’t work within an email.
However, the ticket link sent in the email should not link to the home page, it should go directly to the ticket itself.
Is there an event I can run a test registration on to view this?
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings -> HTML
Is the ticket message type in the in-active section? If yes, drag it over to the active section and retest the ticket link again.
Ok, I understand. You are right, the link goes to the ticket itself.
I was wondering how buyers can get their ticket into their phone? Anything I have missed? So they need Internet connection when clicking on the link in the email, right?
