Send test transactions?

I have setup Authorize.net at processor gateway. Do I use AIM or SIM. Its a regular authozire.net account.

I said yes to “Send test transactions?”. How do I test it?

Hi Sherry,

When you enabled Test mode (debug mode) in the payment methods page for Authorizenet will let you test out Authorizenet without actually using any real funds.

I recommend going with Authorizenet AIM since that is onsite which means your registrants/attendees won’t leave your site to complete their payment.

An SSL certificate is recommended and you’ll know that you are in debug mode as some of the billing information will be pre-filled.

Be sure to turn it off through the payment methods page for Event Espresso when you are ready to accept live payments.
