Send email to all registrants for event

This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to send an email to all registrants (paid and pending payment) at once?

I can only find out how to send it to the 10 or so who are listed on each Registrations page (this means having to click Send Batch Message multiple times).

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

At this moment in time, the mails can only be sent in batches. I’ll add your +1 to the request for a send to all system.

Hi Jonathan, you could also raise the pagination value by going to Screen Options in the top right corner. Then increase the value and save changes.

For example, you could change it from 10 to 50 and then each page would show 50 registrants. If you changed it to 75, then it would show 75 registrants and so forth.

Note that if you will be sending out a lot of notifications at once, then I recommend setting up a transaction email service:

It’s amazing how many options we have! I wasn’t aware of that one so my apologies Jonathan. The ticket for an email all system has been reviewed and accepted by the developers so it will be added to the development queue.

I couldn’t find a pagination option, but it sounds like exactly what I need. Thanks.

I run Mailman on the server, which sends thousands of emails daily/weekly without problem. Do you still recommend me look into the link above? (Serious question, not sarcastic – thanks.)

When they are coding the email system it would be good to be able to email:
1. All delegates for an event. Though that’s possible already if the pagination can be increased sufficiently.
2. All delegates for multiple, selected events.
3. All delegates for a category, or multiple categories.
4. 3 above for (a) past, (b) future, (c) all events.

Hi Jonathan, Mailman sounds similar to a transactional email service and should work fine.

From the registrations overview screen, if you look in the top right corner you should see a toggle for screen options.

Could you click on that?

Then you should some additional options appear. Increase the value from 10 to another value and save changes.

Then the page should refresh and you should see more registrations appearing than before.

That’s great, thanks. I meant I couldn’t find it BEFORE you said it existed, but your further explanation should help others 🙂
