Selling hole sponsorships

Hi Support, we have some golf tournaments coming up, and in addition to selling tickets for charity, we would like to sell sponsorships, but some of the sponsors don’t attend. If we list it as another Ticket in EE, or use your 3rd party plugin we saw on “Selling products for our golf tournaments” support post, the tickets show “attendee” even if the sponsor is not attending. I could do it through WooCommerce and simply list that on the site, but thought I would check with you first.

Hi there,

All tickets within EE will always create a ‘registration’ and therefor an ‘attendee’ linked to that registration, so the front end shows them as ‘attendee’.

Will it work to simply remove that Attendee text for all registrations on the front end?

If not you will need to use another method outside of EE, like WooCommerce as your mentioned.
