Selling golf foursomes

Hi,
I’ve been tasked with creating a website for a charity golf tournament. So far we have everything we need except for the ability for users to purchase multiple foursomes. Ideally they would see the quantities 0, 4, 8, 12, etc in the ticket quantity drop down. Using the golf tournament demo here I was able to set it up to purchase a single foursome but not multiples. Is there any way to accommodate this?

Yes, you can set up ticket bundles in increments of 4’s by following this guide:

We have run into a problem, however. Some of the people registering foursomes didn’t have all the golfer’s names and entered TBA or TBD and their own email address for the missing ones. As well, the person who has been entering the mail-in registrations has been using TBA and our info email address. I see that these have resulted in single contacts with multiple registrations. when I open the registrations there is no “Create Contact” button available for these, just the “view/edit contact” button.

I can do that but there is a fair number to update and I’m hoping there is an easier solution since this was posted.

May I ask which registration are you opening where it doesn’t say “Create Contact”? If you open the 1 of 4 registration, that one shouldn’t have “Create Contact” button. After that first one, starting with 2 of 4, then 3 of 4, and 4 of 4, those may each have a “Create Contact” button.

I’ve tried opening all 4. The problem occurs when the person who purchases the foursome is entered as the primary attendee but the others are manually entered as TBA with the same email address. So for that transaction we end up with two contacts, the primary and TBA.

Where “Use Attendee #1’s information for ALL attendees” has been used we can add the new contacts fine.

In that case it would be simpler to cancel the original registrations and re-register them with the correct names.

Sorry, I might be a little confused. When you say “cancel the original registrations” do you mean cancel and re-register any foursomes that contain TBAs or just the TBAs themselves? Would that mean deleting the corresponding transactions as well, or is there a way to add new registrations to an existing transaction that I’m not seeing?

I mean cancel and re-register any foursomes that contain TBAs. When you add the new registrations a new transaction record will be made, and the old transaction will no longer be used.
