Hello,

We have multiple ticket types within one event. Is it possible to set it up without Multiple Event Registration add-on? (We’re using personal license)

Also would like to know if we for instance buy this add-on, but later decide to buy Business license on top of that, how much would we need to pay extra for that upgrade?

Final question: One of our pricing options (ticket types) has it’s name longer than 50 characters and is beeing cut off in the texbox. What do you suggest to remedy that?

Thank you so much!

Hi Maisha,

In order to purchase multiple ticket types within one registration (for example 1 x adult ticket & 2 x child tickets) you would need the Multi Event Registration Add-on (MER for short)

how much would we need to pay extra for that upgrade?

The best option here would be to send an email to sales@eventespresso.com explaining what you would like to do and they will be able to answer this, add a reference to this thread somewhere in the email to help keep track.

Final question: One of our pricing options (ticket types) has it’s name longer than 50 characters and is beeing cut off in the texbox. What do you suggest to remedy that?

This is a limit set within the database, you can alter this if you have access to something like phpMyAdmin on the server.

You need edit the ‘wp_event_prices’ table: http://take.ms/hcWJ4

change the ‘length’ for ‘price_type’: http://take.ms/zvIv5

Then edit the ticket name and update the event.

Hope that helps 🙂

I should also note, before making ANY changes to your database, it is always advisable to create a backup. If do not already have a recent full site backup (both the sites files and the database) I would advise creating one now.

We have a guide posted on how to create a backup, available here:
