Hi,

I have a client who is looking to use Event Espresso for their website and am trying to determine whether or not it would fulfil their requirements. Two in particular which I am unsure about are:

• They have summer clubs which run every weekday for 6 weeks during summer holidays. They need for a parent to be able to register 1 or more children for any number of specific dates within that period. (e.g. They may want one child to go on Thursday and Friday whereas the other two would go on Monday and Tuesday) They would also need to enter custom registration information for each child (i.e. dietary requirements)

• Another use would be for parents’ evenings where parents would register to see multiple teachers at a chosen time slot, each with a capacity of one booking.

Can these two scenarios be catered for?

Thanks in advance

Hello Owen,

I think that Event Espresso would work for you. You will need the Multiple Event Registration add-on that is included in the Business and Developer License packages. It can also be purchased separately.

You would set up each class as a separate event where they can add them to a cart for registration. You could also set up events for each of the teachers’ availabilities. Then the parents could add the events to the cart as well.

Have you tried our test-drive site to see how this would work for you? If not, check it out here: https://eventespresso.com/product/full-event-espresso-test-drive/

Thanks, Jonathan.

I’ve tried out the test drive, yes and I can begin to see how this would work for the given scenarios.

If I were to set up multiple events on each day, allowing customers to add selected days to their cart, would they be required to enter the same registration information for every event or is there a way to apply this information to multiple events?

Thanks again.

Hi Owen,

Yes. There is a copy all button that will copy information from the first set of registration form fields to the ones that follow.

Screenshot of the copy all button.
