Hi
We are a currently using EE3 for our conference and are having difficulty setting up for our needs.
When someone goes to register they need to be able to select and pay for multiple things. A person can fill out a number of options that they want to attend, they can also book and pay for accommodation.
Here is an example of what I mean.
Mr T Example
Mr T goes online to register for the conference he wants to:
• Register as a full delegate for the conference 24-25 July, Early bird (before 13 June 2014) Cost $495
• Register for Workshop 1 – Prescription medications, pathology, pain and patient problems, , a half day workshop, on Wednesday, 23 July 2014, cost $195
• He wants his wife to attend the cocktail party with him, so he needs to buy an extra ticket, cost $55
• Book accommodation for the 23 & 24 July, cost $239 per night.
TOTAL COST to be billed on the registration $495 + $195 + $55 + (2 x $239=$478)= TOTAL $1223
All the options have been added in the event pricing, however you can’t select them as you can only select one drop down item.
When need to set this up so that people can have multiple field selections.
The totals also need to add up.
Any advice.

Hi Sharon,
If you are using EE3 then I would suggest using the Multiple Event Registration (MER) addon. This allows your users to add events to a cart like system, where they can select multiple tickets etc.

This would need to be an individual ticket, or if details are not required for the spouse, then you could use the beta plugin Price Modifier (only works with MER).
Alternatively you could look into EE4 which has a more robust and flexible ticketing system – you have access to it in your account page.
The only issues with EE4 is that they can only register for one event at a time there is no MER for it yet, and there is no discounting as yet (early bird)
