Hi, I’ve setup EE with the RealAuth payment gateway and told them to use the “Thank You” page (which contains the [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS] shortcode) as outlined in . This seems to complete transactions but RealEx iframes the response page instead of redirecting.
I then came accross which suggests that the response page should be the page that contains the [ESPRESSO_TXN_SHORTCODE], by default I see no page with this in it. I do however have the “Transactions” page with the shortcode [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] in it.
Could somebody please tell me which is the correct response page and if the iframing of the response page is the correct behaviour for RealAuth/RealEx. I could create a blank template if this is the case but it doesn’t seem to be the correct behaviour to me. It also would complicated things if I used multiple gateways.
If you are using the default WordPress pages for Event Espresso, then you can see the pages that are select in WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Page Settings:
I’m aware which pages have which shortcodes in them, I was just seeking clarification on which page was the correct one to use for the response as those two posts I linked too gave conflicting views from support staff.
I was alos just wanting to confirm if the response page being iframed by RealEx was the correct behaviour.
At the moment I’m using ‘/thank-you’ so I’ll give it a go using the ‘/transactions’ page as you mention here.
Thanks. The transaction page shortcode has changed so that may have contributed to the confusion.
Please let us know if it begins to work for you.
