Not really. The view cart page is dynamically generated by the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode. So if an event is added to the cart, the add to cart link for that event will dynamically change to a view cart link.

If you’re using the [ESPRESSO_CART_LINK] shortcode on a post or page, or within an event description, you can add the direct_to_cart=1 parameter and that will redirect the registrant to the cart page.
