New Install 3.1.3.65.P Developer Version. using Seating Chart Add On…

Designed a Custom seating chart. It was a breeze.

There are a few things I can work around…only being able to click one seat at a time when ordering from the chart is a nuisance…but did I see correctly I can avoid having to have the reg info for each additional attendee using a copy from/copy to workaround or something? Or does that only work when not using the seating chart addon?

I have two things I’m not sure I can work around though- but I’m an optimist.

1. http://www.bearcreekmemories.com/event-registration/?ee=2
Please visit that link – and click to add a seat. I can’t see the first section of the seating chart…it is off the top of the page. Any insight here?

2. I operate a dinner theater. I see that the prices are static from the CSV when using the chart. Is there anyway to be able to add a meal option per attendee (meals are always $14) to the order if they want to add a meal.

I don’t think my primarily elderly clientele will tolerate the “cumbersome-ness” of adding seating from the seating chart one at a time online…but if I could get #1 and #2 above going in my favor I think this would work for our phone orders that I have a lady take over the phone.

I like how the script functions (without the seating chart add on) – but it doesn’t give me reserved seating so it doesn’t do me much good, unless there is a way to add a notes field when doing a ticket order that can be printed on the ticket and a seating assignment can be added that way manually.

Thoughts?

Hello,

This CSS should help make the entire seating chart visible:

#seating_chart_page
{
	top: 395px;
}

Could you try adding it to your child themes CSS file or a plugin like My Custom CSS?

We have a price modifier addon that will change the main price base of some options that your add. I have not tested this with the seating chart addon but it seems like it should work:

You’ll need to join the pre-release channel before you’ll be able to download it:

Thank you! the CSS worked great.

The Price modifier is set up and is showing up as intended however it isn’t affecting the final price. Thoughts?

Hi Jamie,

The seating chart addon does not allow discounts currently as it overrules the ticket prices.

There are ways to make it work but it would require modifying code:
