Searching on event description and categories

I’m testing the free wordpress plugin. My company builds wordpress sites and potentially has a number of clients who could use the paid version.

A few of these would be for ticket sales. One feature that is important to us is the visitor’s ability to find events by searching on them. I tried searching on phrases and categories from the pages and categories that I set up. The searches didn’t pull up the pages/categories. I installed the search everything plugin. That didn’t help.

Do you have a suggestion for how I can get better search results? Thank you. Also, do you have a reseller plan?

George

HI George,

How are you today?

We’re going to build a better search/filter function in 3.2 or 3.2, but we do have a simple search function that searches the titles of events. Here is a demo of it: https://eventespresso.com/testdrive/event-search/ Search for any of the events on this page (if you need a keyword to search for: https://eventespresso.com/testdrive/).

Does that help?
