SCA Readiness

Hi there,

We have Event Espresso and Stripe for receiving payments on our website osholeela.uk. Stripe are writing to us saying that the EE plugin is not SCA compliant. Is there an update to correct this please?

Hi Dev,

Your site is using the latest version of the Stripe payment method (which is SCA ready), however it is currently set to use Stripe checkout (which is not SCA cmpliant).

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe

Under ‘Integration Type’ select ‘Stripe Elements’ and save.

You’ll now need to confirm that the Stripe payment method correctly loads on your checkout page but once you are using the above method you should be SCA compliant.
