Hi, I’m having a bit of an issue with the Recurring Events plugin; it only seems capable of adding multiple dates for an identical event/venue combination. This is a problem if someone wishes to present an identical event not only at different times, but at different VENUES (for example, a person who travels around the country presenting the same course). Is the Recurring Events plugin unable to resolve this kind of issue, and if so, does that mean I am forced to create separate ‘new Event’ entries for every single incident of the course? Thanks for your assistance and advice.

Hi Angela,
I’m afraid that the Recurring Events add-on was not designed for this use case. The event import feature may be a better solution for this because it allows you to enter a different venue for each event that’s imported.

Thanks Josh – so would that simply create a brand new event ie. one separate event for each different venue?

Hi Angela,
With the import feature you create each event manually and can set each events option differently within the CSV and then bulk import them all together.
So if you were creating 10 of the same event but wanted each one to have a different venue you would list 10 events within the CSV (setting the correct dates etc), setting the venue different for each one.
This would then create the 10 separate events once imported.
