Running international events

Hi folks. We had our first enrolment through Event Espresso yesterday, and it went great. I have one question that the person asked though. We run trainings open to people from across the globe, and when she went to enter her country, there were only three choices (USA, Canada, New Zealand). Is it best for me to just turn off the country setting? I don’t really need to know which area of the country the person is coming from.

Hi there,

If you don’t need that info, then yes, you can remove the the country (and likelt state) field from the address question group.

Go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Question Groups (tab) -> Address Information.

Uncheck the questions you don’t want to include in the group and save.

That should remove those questions on the registration form but depending on the payment method you are using it may still be asked there.
