I have created a new event with the permalink being http://www.artnookaiken.com/events/asco-painting-party/. However when you click “view event” or even when you copy and paste this permalink into your browser it somehow routes you to an old event that is no longer running at https://www.artnookaiken.com/events/hocus-pocus/ Please help |

Hi there, Can you make sure the event is published? Also, do you have any Redirection plugins activated on the site? If so you could check your Redirection list, there may be a redirection rule that’s set up where |
The event is published. And I don’t think I have any redirection rules and especially none that would redirect to the hocus-pocus event! |
It looks like anything on your site with For example, all of the following non-existent pages on your site all redirect to a hocus-pocus page: https://www.artnookaiken.com/asco/ If you do not have a Redirection plugin settings page to check, the next place to look would be in the site’s .htaccess file. |
OK. so how do I fix it? |
You find the redirect and remove it. |
how do I do that? I don’t know where the .htaccess file is or how to do it. |
fixed it |

It sounds like there’s a plugin involved then. Are there other plugins installed on the website other than Event Espresso? Especially SEO plugins or plugins that add redirects? |
