roles & Permissions, the options aren't showing up in the dashboard

I have looked at the documentation and there is nothing for this addon it seems.
I went to the add on section of this website and looking at the screenshot I can see where the options should be but my options stop at the red line for help.
I have purchased the basic & Pro and both are activated in my plugins on my site.
Any ideas?

also, I have tried the options in the other thread, have ticked every option for admin roles and also added the new one espresso_permissions_user_groups() i have logged in and out. I was sure to activate the basic before the pro of the R&P, logged out and in again. I am using it on a single site, no R&P menu showing under Espresso options.

further to last, I have just gone into the “settings” on the basic plugin and it wouldn’t let me, I got a white screen with a message saying I don’t have access privileges. I am signed in as admin with everything possible ticked and I even added the espresso_permissions_user_groups.

Are there more permissions I have to add to have permission and then see the missing menus for roles & permissions.

Hanging out to hear from you.

No, but it doesn’t sound like something is working correctly. Start with deactivating the PRO add-on and then verify that the admin has the edit_roles cap checked off. Then save.

thanks. I deactivated the PRO and even deleted it.
Admin has edit_roles cap checked off. Everybox available is ticked off.
Saved/Updated. Logged out, logged in, still nothing.
Went to plugins and deactivated the basic Permissions plug in, reactivated and tried going to Plug in settings and got this message:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

What now Josh? This will make or break my project at the moment, I’m getting desperate (and I’m in Australia so running out of time)

I have now gone to one of my test sites, clean.
a. installed wordpress
b. installed/activated epresso events plugin
c. installed/activated espresso members
d. installed/activated espresso basic permissions
tried to go into settings for the plugin and received “You do not have sufficient permission to access this page” error. I am the only user and logged in as administrator. as a clean copy I can’t see where to even check the user roles.
Please please please help!

If I purchase a support call and you can’t get it going either, can I get a refund on both the support and the plugin?

This may be a dumb question but what version of EE do you have active?

Selina

Version 3.1.21.P | By Seth Shoultes | Visit plugin site

(no such thing as a dumb question)

Hi Selina,

Chris’ question was worth asking then. The current roles and permissions add-ons are compatible only with Event Espresso 3.1.24.P and higher.

Thank you so much. I thought the updates auto-updated because my page didn’t tell me there was an update available. I will look to do this manually in future.
Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU. Once this site stops costing me money and I actually make some I will upgrade to business.
