Roles/ permissions for EE4

I understand the Add-On has not been completed for EE4 yet but I have a need to create a user and provide them with permissions to only access the EE section of the site. Is there a workaround for this already? If not any ETA on when their might be?

Hi Steve,

How are you today?

We’re going a little different route with EE4 roles & capabilities. We’re in the process of adding capabilities throughout EE4, but we’re not going to build a roles and capability plugin right off the bat. You should be able to manage the roles and capability access with an existing capabilities manager plugin.

We’re trying to make these available in a near-future release. IF you want access to the development version of EE4 (maybe later next week), please request access to our GitHub repo: https://eventespresso.com/developers/
