Here is a note from my colleague who is setting up the R&P Pro:

“I think regional manager role is the one that we can control user which region/country he can access.

I set up the countries and had updated the existing event venues which is necessary to classify appropriate region/country.

The problem I face now is that when I tried to update a regional manager to appropriate country, I get a error message:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/mirriamm/public_html/wealthmentors.com/wp-content/themes/profitstheme_11/lib/admin/control-panel.php on line 31”

It seems to be a conflict with a theme we are using http://profitstheme.com/. We absolutely need this theme as we have done a lot of work with it. Can you help us resolve the error?

Hi,

Have you spoken to the theme developers regarding this issue? I would have no problem having a look to see if I can pinpoint the problem, however the error message is stating the theme has the error not EE. I am quite certain it will be a javascript error, they usually are.

If you would like me to have a closer look then please send in login details for your site via https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Choose the “I am sending login info as requested” option and fill out the form

Please make sure you add the forum post link to aid us in case another team member picks up the email.

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level.

We have not spoken to the the theme developer. Just submitted the login details and thank you so much for your help.

While checking, please do note update the Events espresso to the latest version as we have done a lot of customization to 3.1.25.

My colleague has earlier tried to work with 2 different themes including wordpress twenty and got these errors. Something to do with Venue Manager but couldn’t figure out why. Hope will not get this in Profits theme.

Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/mirriamm/public_html/wealthmentors.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/admin-files/venue-management/index.php on line 101

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/mirriamm/public_html/wealthmentors.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/admin-files/venue-management/index.php on line 103

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi,

I had a look at the error directly, and there is not much we can do from our end. You will need to speak to the theme developer on this.

There is one similar case (scroll to the bottom) where the plugin author resolved it, but he was using a generic term on his form, whereas we use unique generated terms. Unless by some million to one chance the theme developer is using the same terms, then the issue lie with the theme.

Thanks for your advice. Theme developer got us to replace the control-panel.php in wp-content/themes/profitstheme_11/lib/admin/ and the problem is resolved.

Now we have a different set of errors when using the regional manager login:

With regional manager role,

1)try to access Event Overview the following error messages appear

Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/mirriamm/public_html/wealthmentors.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/event-management/queries.php on line 17

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/mirriamm/public_html/wealthmentors.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/event-management/queries.php on line 18

2)Cannot view venues created by another regional manager with same country access.

We previously hired a programmer to customize events espresso for our business needs. Not sure if there is any impact.

Any news?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I cannot recreate number one, I have no issues getting a Regional Manager to access the Event Overview. It could be an issue with 3.1.25 that has since been rectified.

I did come across an issue with the venues, but it was slightly different to yours, the venues are there but inaccessible due to an error, which I will get the devs to look at.

Whilst I know you have customised EE heavily at version 3.1.25, I must advise that updating will help fix any issues that arise, fixes + features is why we release new versions.
