Hello,
I would love to start using EE4. However, I am currently bound to EE3, as the Roles and Permissions Basic add-on is not yet available for EE4. This seems strange to me, as EE is already at 4.4.x. When can I expect the add-on to be made available for EE4?

Hi Boris,
How are you today?
The behind-the-scenes work for the Roles and Permissions for EE4 will be available in EE 4.5 (unless something changes). And with 4.5 you will be able to use any of your favorite roles and permissions plugin rather than needing to purchase one from us. So, when 4.5 becomes available, you can use a roles and permissions plugin from wordpress.org for free. That’s a big bonus for Event Espresso 4 and you. No announcement date for EE 4.5 but we are testing it internally now.

As Garth mentioned we do not have a specific release date as yet. We will announce further once it’s ready for public beta.
