Restricting Discount Coupons

Hi there,

Our marketing team wants to create a 25% discount coupon code that can be used by ONLY certain company. Those who aren’t in this company can’t use this coupon.

Apart from “human layer control” (by not telling the coupon code to anyone outside the company), does Event Espresso – Promotions add-on have any option to limit usage of coupon code to a certain group of users?

Hi there,

The add-on doesn’t include any functionality to restrict promotions with specific capabilities/roles etc.

What you can do is remove the promotion code field from checkout for all users without a specific capability on their account, would that work for you?

Note that if you using more promotion codes for other users it’s likely not something you can use.
