Hello,
Is there a default parameter for restricting canceled events from [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR]?
If not, is EED_Espresso_Calendar.module.php the correct place to start investigating how to alter the output?
Are there any nearby hooks that I might be able to use to modify the output?

Hello,
Here is a filter that can be used to remove events with certain statuses:

It has been tested with a current version of Event Espresso 4 and the events calendar add-on.
