Trying to resolve a problem with the following error message… “You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain.” From what I can tell looking through the forums I need my license key reset. Thanks. |
Hi Kevin, Your key has been reset. You’ll need to enter the key into the site that is not installed in the http://yoursite.org/wordpress location (which is where the key was registered to). Be sure to save the options page after removing and re-entering the key. |

I’m not getting something. I only have one wp site so I’m assuming that part of your instructions don’t apply. I went to my general settings page and deleted the old key, clicked on save options, pasted the new key from my account page and hit save options and I still have the same issue. I can update through ftp, just would like the hassle to go away. What am I doing wrong? |
Can you look in the WordPress Dashboad menu under Settings > General and check to see if the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) settings are the same? |

I’ve had the same error for a while as well. I thought I’d switch over to a new domain and reset the key, forking up the $10 to reset a key and still nothing. Though it looks license reset pending but it hasn’t been executed. Anyway I can get that taken care of? |

I’ve got WP running from a sub directory so they are different URL’s. |
@Gregory, the key has been reset. |

The URL that was sent along when the key was first successfully activated is the URL that gets attached to the key. So we can try this: I’ll reset the key again, and then you can go to the Event Espresso > General Settings page again and hit save. |

How long does it take to get the license key rest? I sent a request this morning, but haven’t heard back yet. (my account shows paid – pending reset) |

Stephanie, We reset your license key earlier today. Has your issue been resolved? |
