I have EE4 and one of my events does not have enough people registered to hold the event. I notified my clients and told them they could move to a different day. Is there a way that I can change the event date in their current registration and not have to register them again?
Hi Erick, attendees can’t be pulled from an existing event.
However, you could manually register those new attendees for the new event through the WP dashboard.
Add new registrations
Event Espresso –> Events. Then locate the new event and hover over the name. Then click on Registrations.
On the next page, click on Add New Registration. Then complete the registration.
Cancel existing registrations
Once this has been done, go to Event Espresso –> Events. Then locate the old event and hover over the name. Then click on Registrations.
On the next screen, you’ll see a list of registrations. Locate all of the registrants/attendees that have already been added to the new event. Then cancel their registrations.
Lorenzo,
I was well aware I could do that but it is the exact issue I was trying to avoid. I’m going to spend a lot of time typing in the user information and all the additional info I need from the registration but it would be helpful if I could just go into the registration and change it manually.
Once a registration has been made onto a datetime/ticket those details can not be modified so the only way to move the attendees to another event at this time is to follow the steps @Lorenzo provided above.
