I have got a passed with warnings message when I ran the plugin. Will I still be able to run EE4? If so, exactly which features will be affected by it. My errors are:

1) Mysql: I am using 5.0.96-log version.
2) Recommended apache modules and apache security not found
3) .htaccess file not found

Hi Cigdem, I replied to your other email and I’ll also share my reply here.

If your site is running a current version of PHP 5.3 and above, then Event Espresso should run without any issues.

This isn’t the case here but I also want to mention that we do not support Windows-based servers as we test and develop on Apache and Nginx.

Thanks

Lorenzo

My client’s website is using GoDaddy and eNom for host and registration. Will EE4 run with its full features despite the warning I got for sql version?

Which hosting package within GoDaddy?

Is it a Linux or Windows based server?

If your are using the ‘GoDaddy Managed WordPress’ hosting package you will run into problems due to the fact that GoDaddy cache all pages for all sites using that packages and do not offer the option to exclude pages from caching.

Event Espresso pages can not be cached as the data is dynamic, each registration needs to update and pull information from the database, caching prevents this.
