Requesting due payment from the customer

Hello, we are offering a 5% siblings discount with the promo code SIBLINGS on our events. We noticed that some customers abused this code by using it without having siblings registered.

How can we request the difference by using the system with least effort?

Hi there,

Currently, you can not remove line items (which is how the promotion is applied to the transaction) from a transaction so to do this you would basically need to recreate the registration within the admin, manually apply the payment from the original transaction to the new one and then trigger a payment reminder email.

You can then set the original registration to cancelled, or remove the payment and delete it completely.

Note – ‘Bumping’ your threads will actually have the opposite effect as we try to reply to threads based on last reply date.

That it is, eventually we would like to have the ability to edit the transactions, it just takes time 🙂
