Hello,
Can we replace the price value in the ticket selector with custom text or our own static price? We want to keep the ticket free because we like the checkout process, but we want to make it clear that it is $49 (not $0 as it current displays). So we are looking for a way to hook into and display our own static price within the ticket selector that is on the event page.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if you use the checkout like a free event, you’re skipping the payment step and automatically approving attendees?
So, have you tried keeping the price, but setting the default registration status to Approved? I don’t think it will skip the payment page because Event Espresso is not designed to do that.
Otherwise, what is the benefit of telling people that the price is $49, but not require payment? Otherwise, name the ticket $49, but set the price to $0.
