I did a test purchase through Paypal. The payment went through and sent 2 emails, one which is a confirmation email and the other email has the ticket link. The problem is that the emails keep coming. Over the last 7 hours I’ve received the pair of emails 11 times. Not sure what is going on.
This can happen if PayPal sends the Instant Payment Notification (or IPN) and it doesn’t get confirmation that your site received it. Can you check to see if your IPN notify page can be reached by PayPal?
Basically, what you do to check it is go to Event Espresso>System settings and copy/paste the URL for the Transaction Notification page that’s listed under “Registration Pages”. If you can view this page while not being logged into the site, then it’s likely the case that PayPal’s IPN can reach the same page.
