Removing "Make a Payment" button from EE4

Hello,

I’m using wordpress 4.1 with EE4.4.8. All of our events are free, so the “Make a Payment” button is unnecessary, and confusing to majority of our clients (usually 55+).

Is there a way to remove this?
Will this be a default option to select in future updates?

Hi Dana, there are some options available for the current release.

For example, here is a tutorial on changing the text for various buttons that are using in registration checkout for Event Espresso 4:
