I have found a couple of posts using CSS to remove the featured image from event posts, but I need to remove the featured image for only a couple events and leave it in place on all the rest. So placing a common CSS in the template that will effect all event pages will not help. I tried loading a couple plugins that allow custom CSS on the page/post but they dont seem to work with the Event Esspresso event setup form. I have an event category of “Conference” setup. Is there a way I can not have featured images appear on the event page for a category or a way I can tell specific events not to show the featured image?

Hi John,
Yes, this should be doable with a CSS class.
Can you link me to one of the events you want to remove the image from and one that you don’t (so I can confirm it works)?

After typing the request I realized I could make a custom page template through the theme and that worked. However, it would be wonderful if future updates included some easy option selections that one could simply select, such as show featured image, show/hide dates, show/hide time and such.

I assume these settings would be on a per-event basis?
We do have some options under Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates, however, EE events are a custom post type so a lot of the output is actually controlled by your theme. We inject various event details into the_content but the theme has control over most of it.
