I would like to NOT have the user emailed a confirmation or registration for an event. Is this possible?

You can turn off payment confirmation emails, and you can choose to not send registration confirmation emails before the payment is received, http://www.screencast.com/t/lsOIoNu4v Go to General Settings in Event Espresso.

I’m sure it’s possible to eliminate all the emails, but it doesn’t seem like good customer service (my opinion).

Garth, Thanks for your reply, however turning those to “No” still sends an email to the user, thanking them for registering.

I understand that this is poor customer service, but my client insists on this request. It should also be noted that this it a free live webstream event that the client only wants to capture registrant’s first, and last name, and email. They aren’t sold anything, it’s a one-off event. I have it set so on the confirmation of registration page, you are given a link and password for the webstream page. That’s the entire user-flow experience. Nothing more. The email really is not needed, even it is “not a big deal”.

Does this make sense?

Hi Stuart,

I’ve raised a ticket with the developers to look into this.
