Remove the term "ticket" from all front end strings

I have 4.87 and I updated my functions file to change ticket to registration. If I upgrade to 4.89 does this recent enhancement effect my functions file? WIll I need to redo it?

Hey Hawkman,

Are you referring to your theme’s functions.php file? If so, then no, EE does not modify theme files during an update. I recommend doing a backup of the database before installing updates.

Yes. Since it is looking for a find and replace, if you changed the word ticket then I suspect my find and replace won’t work.. maybe I’m not thinking about this correctly.

Example – ‘This Ticket<br/>Sold’ => ‘This Class<br/>Sold’,

Hello, by default those areas no longer have the word “ticket” appearing there.
