We are finding that people are registering and not paying, even though we eliminated the options for pay by check and invoice. I’m hoping there is a way to only allow them to register if they complete the payment by credit card and not put them in the system without payment.
In other words, not allow a “pending payment” status.
We are running EE3 using with FristData. I could not find correct documentation for this issue so I hope you can help!
Event Espresso needs to collect attendee/registrant information before a payment can be associated with a registration.
With that mentioned, if you are using incomplete as the default registration status in Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Optional Event Settings, then the registrant/attendee information will be recorded but will not count against the attendee limit that is set through the event editor:
