Hi there!
I have the latest version of WordPress and a new installation of EE. An example event may be found here. The client wants users to be able to reserve a spot without making payment. Since he is working mostly with seniors, the fear is that when they see “payment options” as a step at the top, they will not go further. Is there a way to remove the payment step completely? I know that it will not actually charge them anything, but I’d rather it not show at all.
I apologize if this has been addressed already, but I was not able to find a solution by searching.

Hi Karen,
In EE3, there are only 3 ways to take registrations without payment:
1) Make the event free
2) Use the Pre Approval system. This will cut the registration short and the admin will need to manually approve the attendees (which will send them an email linking to payment options).
3) Modify a gateway such as the Cheque/Money Order one to use different wording such as Pay on the Gate. This will still show payment options though.
